Downtown

It's 15 degrees in Chicago.
I've been here for only 3 days,
yet it feels like i've been here for some time.
Not because time is dragging,
but because I feel pretty much at home.
Left hand driving included.
It's ok, once you get over the fact that
sometimes you do drive onto opposing lanes.

I was downtown this evening,
chic restaurant, good conversation,
chilly weather, highstreets.
I felt like I wanted to be away again.
Thanks Jen and Laurel, for being great company tonight.
More work tomorrow and
I can't wait to do touristy stuff on Friday. Ha ha.

I missed you on Monday.
